IMPORTANT NOTICE from DPW Director Matt Wurtz
2/21/18 - 10:00 AM The main sewer that runs along the golf course has flooded and is backing up the sewer along Bush Creek Drive. Most homes that this affects have had a backwater valve installed in the basement that prevents the sewage from backing up into the homes. When these valves close it is important to understand that water used in the house will not go out and may go into the basement.
We recommend that Bush Creek Drive residents, and any other residents in the area who have backflow valves, limit your water to absolute necessity. We are unsure how long this situation will last but will continue to monitor and let you know when normalcy returns.

There's something NEW in the neighborhood . . .
Lakeland Terriers Dash and Olive, models for the fountain box mural, stopped by to see the new artwork downtown!
The box was built by DPW employees and painted by City Administration employee Liz Hill. It will remain in place over the winter months to protect the fountain until temperatures become warm enough for the fountain to flow again.
